When you're surfing along
in Internet Explorer you might decide to send an email
by clicking the little envelope button in the toolbar.
Or if you're in Firefox you might hit Ctrl+M to send
one. Either way, you'll probably get an Outlook Express
window. But wait, you use Thunderbird or Incredimail
for your email. How can that default be changed?
Whether you use IE or
Firefox, you'll need to go into IE to change the default
mail client. You heard me right—you can't change
it in Firefox.
So, open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet
Options. Then click the Programs tab.
You'll see several options listed. Next to Email click
the arrow to pull down a list of programs to choose
from. Select the one you want then click OK.
