The IEC-13, is the proof that the Mexican
Social Security Institute provided to all companies
that had to enroll their workers in the IMSS (yellow
copy).
Currently, such proof is not longer been printed in
any IMSS regional offices, in order to simplify the
administrative procedures in the different State enrollment
and validity departments.
The main objective of the Mexican Social Security Institute
by promoting this new system, is to eliminate paperwork,
therefore, it is worth mentioning that employees of
those companies that subscribe to IMSS DESDE SU EMPRESA
(IMSS FROM YOUR BUSINESS) will not be required to present
the pink copy (official document) to get medical attention
at the different family medicine units at national level.
